Jada Yee, a proud member of Wood Mountain Lakota Sioux First Nation, brings over two decades of senior leadership experience. His roles as VP of Operations and Director of Business Development at FHQ Developments, Manager at SaskGaming & Casino Regina, and General Manager of an Indigenous Metal Fabrication facility showcase his dynamic expertise. Jada's commitment extends to academia, where he serves as a Sessional Instructor in the School of Business at the First Nations University of Canada.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jada is a dedicated community leader, volunteering on various Indigenous and Non-Indigenous boards. Currently serving as the very first elected civilian Chair on the Regina Police Service Board of Police Commissioners. Jada was elected to the National Board of the Canadian Association for Police Governance, representing Saskatchewan. His exceptional contributions to bridging the gap in Reconciliation were acknowledged with the prestigious Queen's Jubilee medal and the 2023 Alumni Crowning Achievement Awards, where he received the Distinguished Humanitarian and Community Service Award. Jada's compassion knows no bounds, as evidenced by his exceptional fundraising efforts, securing over $17,000 for Lulu's Lodge, a Transition Home for LGBTQ2S+ Individuals. His unwavering commitment demonstrates a heartfelt dedication to crafting safe havens and empowering marginalized communities.
