Jessica Nixon brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role at OneHoop. With an MBA and ICD.D Designation, Jessica has distinguished herself as an independent consultant in renewable energy, agriculture, and Indigenous Economic Development. Her dedication to sustainability has earned her recognition as a member of Canada’s Clean50 2023 cohort, reflecting her leadership in advancing environmentally conscious initiatives.

In her previous roles, Jessica has demonstrated a deep-rooted connection to her community and the land, having been raised on a cattle and grain farm near Earl Grey, Sask. Alongside her husband Danny and their three children, Jessica actively co-manages the family farm, which encompasses 100 black angus cows, 3,800 acres of grain land, and a year-round commercial modular hydroponic greenhouse known as Leafy Lane. Her firsthand experience in agriculture underscores her understanding of the intricate relationship between Indigenous communities and sustainable development.
