Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Development and Implementation
2025 marks the ten-year anniversary since the publication of the Final Report by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC). Since then, we have supported organizations with developing RAPs to guide them on their reconciliation journeys as they look to build a future where they collaborate, partner, and support Indigenous groups. At OneHoop, we reinforce this point: we look to build an equitable and sustainable future. We develop RAPs that embrace the changes we see, feel, and experience fully in the world around us. We bring our lived experience, our expertise, and watershed publications and thought leadership to develop RAPs that challenge organizations to be future-forward.
Whether your organization is developing an inaugural RAP or looking to strengthen or refresh an existing one, we ensure that the resulting RAP is meaningful, relevant, and impactful.
Our comprehensive RAP services cover all phases of development and implementation, including:● Assessment and Planning: We begin by conducting a thorough assessment of your organization's current state, including its policies, practices, and relationships with Indigenous communities. We then work with you to develop a customized RAP that aligns with your values, priorities, and operational context. This includes identifying key stakeholders and rightsholders, conducting engagement sessions, and developing a comprehensive action plan.● Implementation and Monitoring: We deliver ongoing support and guidance as you implement your RAP, helping you track progress, measure impact, and adapt your approach as needed. We also assist with monitoring and evaluating your RAP to ensure it remains relevant and effective over time.● Reporting and Communication: We help you communicate your RAP progress and achievements to stakeholders in a clear and transparent manner, fostering accountability and building trust.
Our team of experts has extensive experience in developing and implementing RAPs across various sectors. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with reconciliation and will deliver tailored guidance to help your organization achieve its goals.
